Upcoming important dates:

• Tuesday 2/8 -- TSHIRT ORDER FORMS ARE DUE

• Saturday 2/19 -- REHEARSAL IS AT GVMS

* Regarding the rehearsal at GWES, that is the only day we are there until we officially move over on Wednesday, February 23. The 12th will be at GW, but all rehearsals until the 23rd are at GVMS.

The following is a list of links to our dance videos. We hadn't posted them because of privacy issues, but we found a way to privatize the youtube videos. These videos are not searchable. This means that only the people who have the following links can see the videos. I will be removing the links from this post in a few weeks, and then the videos will not be findable at all! SOME ANNOUNCEMENTS:

• Applications for stage crew are going out soon, so tell your friends to keep an eye out if they're interested!

• Your time to enter the contest is almost up! Remember, you must comment on all of the entries listed in the navigation box on the right!!
• Barring any crazy weather conditions, a REMINDER that we have rehearsal on WEDNESDAY this week in addition to our usual TUESDAY, THURSDAY.
• No rehearsal on Saturday due to the long weekend.

Saturday's rehearsal & Monday night

Thank you to all who came out to rehearsal this morning! We really wanted to stick with our parent meeting and get started on choreography with Mrs. Devenney for "Wendy's Song," and we were successful with both endeavors!


For those who were unable to make it: Parents, please check in with Carrie Kennedy (caskennedyesquire@comcast.net) to see what you missed at the parent meeting or to sign up to volunteer. Cast members, we just went over "Wendy's Song" and I will be posting a video of the choreography we went over.


Since we missed a good two and a half hours of rehearsal, we will be extending the rehearsal on Saturday, January 22nd. It will now be 9-3PM.


Monday night's rehearsal will be from 6:30 - 8:30 in the choral room for:

- Mrs. Darling
- Wendy
- John
- Michael
- Liza
- Nana
- Peter Pan
- Tinkerbell
- The Shadow


Homework for next week:
- memorize words for "Wendy's Song" and "The Darlings"
- work on memorizing the other songs
- practice choreography for "Wendy's Song"
- the Darlings: for Monday, have pages 1-15 memorized -- we will be doing staging

And for those interested in getting a head start on our chant (which we'll learn this week and start singing it at the end of every rehearsal). Our chant begins around 0:15! Check it out!

P.S. From now on, snow cancellations or delays will be posted on the blog, so please be sure to check it if you are unsure of what to do! If we are having rehearsal but you are uncomfortable driving, please use your discretion! We don't want anyone trekking out to rehearsal if they don't feel safe!!

Audition Material

I apologize it took me a few hours to post this, but here is the audition material for the upcoming Peter Pan, The Musical auditions! Everything below is included in the audition packet, which students can either get a copy of at school, or it can be downloaded from the link below (I used the file-hosting site drop.io to host the word document & all of the audio files needed for the auditions).

Audition dates:

• 8th & 7th grade: Monday, November 15, 2010 @ 2:30 - 5:30
• 6th grade: Tuesday, November 16, 2010 @ 2:30 - 4:30
